Healing through Dyads is a very powerful tool which can change your life for the better.
The Purpose of a
Dyad:
1. To be listened to and heard without interruption - perhaps for the first time ever.
2. When
we are actually listened to, something in the mind clears and we can relax.
3. When there is no judgement from
the listening partner,and we are simply understood, it is possible move past that particular issue.
4.
Insights happen when we get words out of our head and they are actually spoken.
6. Your life may actually change
for the better.
What You Do:
This involves you trusting the process and the one sitting across from
you.
Two people sit across from each other and give a simple question or 'instruction' such as:
"Tell me about you and health." Your partner can only respond thank you with no other comments. This
goes back and forth for 40 minutes. There are others in the room doing the same thing so this teaches you how to focus
even in the midst of life going on around you.
There are so many benefits from dyads. I personally love them
and do them on a regular basis whenever I can.
People who have done this work with me and love dyads see huge changes
in their lives - even if their lives were good to begin with. This work is not for everyone. It is for those who
are willing to move forward in their lives and are willing to trust in others - you can take small steps or big steps - it
is the way you want to do it.
